I know some of you who live out of the Southern California area are concerned about Lindsey, Johnny and I. We're fine. The fires aren't really affecting us. Well, except when the smoke was blowing from the east. I had to drive through Irvine today and the smoke was really thick. My lungs still don't feel all that great.

Right now the Santiago Canyon Fire is heading towards the KWVE transmitter site. Last update the fire was about 4 miles away from the site and moving towards it. So we shall see what happens tomorrow morning.

Johnny had his first Disneyland trip last night! It was so much fun! Him and I got to watch Fantasmic while Lindsey and her friends went on Pirates. Johnny's eyes were wide the whole time! It was so neat to be with him

... or has anyone else noticed that the national announcers for sports seem to favor almost any team other than a Southern California team? We're watching the Angels and all the clips they show are of Boston, and the announcers on TBS are excited when it's a Boston hit, but when Angels get a hit it's very matter of fact. Same with the Chargers game. The announcers are raving over the Broncos but when the Chargers got their interception it was "oh look... an interception...".
