Johnny
Isn't this guy so cute? I can't handle how cute he is. His little fingers and toes, and his little nose, and his little eyes exploring everything he can see... We are very excited to have this privilage to raise this little boy. We pray that we can be good parents, and bring him up.

First night at home
Let me start by saying that between the time of 12 AM and now, we've had about 2 hours of sleep combined. Johnny wasn't wanting to eat since last night 9 PM. Lots of crying, hardly any eating (for him), and no sleep. Right now Lindsey is holding him on the couch, she is siting upright with him in her arms and he's happy camper right now. So I'm going to lay on the other couch and try to take advantage of this sleeping time. "Lord, please let him sleep for a couple of hours."

Homecoming
Today, Johhny gets to come home from the hospital! The mean nurses kicked me out last night because they needed the other half of the room for another patient. So, reluctantly, I went home (yes, crying all the way too) and slept at home. I can't wait to go see my little boy! And Lindsey too. :)

Baby update
Lindsey got her epidural today around 10:30. She is happy now. She says it feels like you fall asleep with your arm above your head, but in her legs. She's doing good now. 3 centimeters. We're looking at possibly 10 hours. We can hear a new baby being born right now. We've heard so many of them being born while we've been here. Hopefully we'll have our own little boy in just a few hours!

Baby update
Last night before midnight Lindsey was in constant pain with contractions. They took out the Cervadel last night and the pain subsided. We were able to sleep through the night. This morning at 8 her doctor came in and checked and she was dialated 1 centimeter. She then broke her water. So now the baby is on the clock. He should be born no later than early tomorrow morning. I'm excited! Not looking forward to the pain Lindsey will have until she gets the epidural, but hopefully that will be soon.

Baby update
We're still at the hospital with no baby. Lindsey was put on a drug to cause everything to soften and get into position. Then she was taken off that one and put onto Pitossin last night around midnight. That drug is supposed to start the whole labor process. No go last night. So, the Doc put Lindsey back on the Cervadel and the Pitossin starts around midnight.
Lindsey is dealing with the contractions the best she can. They are starting to get a uncomfortable.
I was sick with the K-Wave plague. But I'm mostly better now. I'm very hungry... need to eat. No hospital food though... Bad stuff.

We are here at the hospital checking in. We are getting a private room! That will be very nice. Poor lindsey hasn't had her snack and she is not allowed to eat anything until after Johnny is out. We will keep you posted as the day progresses.

T minus 1 day
It is just one day to go before Johnny's arrival. We are both very excited! There is so much to do before he gets here. We washed all his little clothes. They are so cute! I can't believe that he is going to fit into those things! We have his little "going home" outfit picked out. This kid will have plenty of photos taken. We'll have at lease one photo available for you, our faithful readers.

Chillin'
So I got to hang out today with Tasha and Hannah! Wootwoot! It's always fun hanging out with them and to hear what they are up to. We got Chipotle (which for the first time didn't raise my blood sugar - praise the Lord) and watched Ghost Hunters. Good times. I hope to hang with them again soon!! :o)

Johnny coming to you live Aug. 8, 2008
It's official. I'm going to be induced on Tuesday the 7th and my doctor expects him to be born on the 8th. So this past week I have been either super tired or full of energy and cleaning everything. However, as some of you know I can't clean in one spot - I clean one spot and before it's done I get distracted and clean another; until everything is a mess.
Anyways, so just wanting to give everyone a heads up! So, mark your calendar - Aug. 8th! Feel free to call any time! We'll be at Fountain Valley Regional Hospital. We're so excited!! :o)
Ok, going back to cleaning!
