iPhone
The iPhone is very sleek and cool. One day I hope we can get Marcos an iPhone. He's really bummed out. :-(
Baby Update
Ok. So it's been a while since I've updated on Johnny.
6/22/07
9:30am - went to my doctor's office for my regular NST (non-stress test) appointment, and he is still non-reactive (heart rate doesn't climb high enough and stay high enough). The doctor suggested that I go to the hospital and have them check me out. I go, marcos arrives, and about an hour later my mom is there too. They keep me there for four hours and everything is the same. They do an ultrasound, a BPP (biophysical profile), doppler test, and met with the perinatologist. They all are confused because he is moving around, the contraction test, and everything else listed above is normal - except he is nonreactive. They sent me home - set up future appointments and went to work around 4pm.

8:00 had my diabetic appt with maria at Fountain Valley Hospital Sweet Success program. Things went really well. :o) Maria called me later the same day and she said that my insulin doses have been increased.
9:00am - went to my NST appt at my doctor's office. Same thing... except for a new little bump in the road - contractions. They sent me home and told me not to do anything. So I went home and that's what I did. They went away around lunch time and haven't felt them since. They were not painful just a tightening on my stomach. I thought it was Johnny pushing or rolling over in one spot. Guess not. All is well now.
We will see how things go from here. Other than all the hickups with the test results, things are good. Oh, and he's still breech.
p.s. tuesday the 3rd, i'll be 8 months pregnant! He's almost here!

johnny at 32 weeks
Here's the latest photo of our cute little boy. Lindsey had to go to the hospital today to do a more detailed test. That's a whole story that I'll let Lindsey tell you about. But out of this we get a new picture of our little boy! Oh I can't wait to hold him!

Father's Day
Happy Fathers Day!
That's going to take getting used to. Today was nice relaxing day. We got up, washed clothes, went to the grocery store, listened to Church on the internet, and relaxed. Then we went to dinner with Lindsey's parents at Black Angus. After that we went back to their house and opened up some Fathers Day gifts and an Anniversary gift for Lindsey and I. I got a coffee table book about why boys need dads. It's cute. And for our Anniversary we got an Apple TV! I'm excited to go home and hook it up.
A friend of mine posted on his blog about backing up. Yeah, it's really important. With everyone taking digital photos and storing them on their computers, it's an even greater loss if your hard drive crashes.
Circus Animal cookies are good. Need to sample the merchandise before Johnny arrives. Yeah, that's why I'm eating them...

WWDC 2007 - Day 3
Ok, so I didn't post yesterday for Day 2. But let me tell you it was a load of fun.
Daniel and I drove down to Cupertino to the Mothership. Yes, we went to the Apple headquarters. 1 Infinite Loop, Cupertino, CA. Got some pictures that I'm going to post to my Flickr account soon. We met up with Dave Escalante there and he let us through the gates. We tried to gain access to the Google campus but were kicked off twice. Then we went to dinner with Dave at Cheesecake Factory, then ice cream at Hagan Daas, then coffee at Starbucks. Then back at his hotel room for several hours.
We did visit the Apple Company Store. It's the only place in the world you can get official logo merchandise like t-shirts, fleeces, hats, baby onesies, etc. So I got two t-shirts, a fleece jacket, a t-shirt for Lindsey, and onesies for Johnny for his first 18 months of life here on earth. Oh, and a bib for him.
Like I said in the title it's Day 3 of WWDC 2007. And I can't say anything about it because I'm bound by a non-disclosure agreement.
Anyway, I'll be home back with my wonderful wife and baby boy on Friday. I can't wait. I miss them so much.

WWDC 2007 - Day 1
It was a long day with lots of lines. The lines were particularly long for the Keynote. But it was pretty cool to see Uncle Steve share some of his goodness with us lowly masses. We were all very bummed to not get iPhones. But we did get copies of the feature complete Leopard beta. Steve even set up the whole end of the keynote with making it sound as if we were going to walk home with iPhones today... then he went and talked about some lame "making mobile apps for the iPhone by writing a web app." Big whoop! We already assumed that! Anyway, i'm tired. Daniel and I are going to go get food in a bit.
I miss Lindsey. I can't wait to be able to video chat with her tonight.

WWDC 2007 - Day 0
I'm going to the WWDC. It's the developers conference for Apple. Daniel Smith is going with me. We're sitting at the Long Beach airport. So we went through security and the whole bit, and were looking for our gate. We didn't know that we were being mixed with arriving passengers and ended up following them out of the secured area. Well, the security guy saw us walk out turn right around and come back and wouldn't let us back in. So we had to go through the whole thing again. What a pain! TSA is not on my Christmas card list. I'm going to miss Lindsey. but it'll be a fun trip. Should get some nice goodies from Apple. I'm going to try to video chat with Lindsey tonight. Well, about 40 minutes before we start to board the flight.

Working...
I'm working all night tonight. I don't really want to be here. I'm very tired. Then I have to come back at 11 to take Mike down to San Clemente with me to remove the booster's transmitter. We're not using it down there at the moment so I'll remove it so we can do testing for the new booster location. Anyway... I'm tired. I want to sleep. I've been having a hard time sleeping lately anyway.
