Transmitter break in, softball, and a b-day
Last Monday we had someone break into our transmitter site. I had been up there earlier in the day to do some maintenance, so I knew that I had locked the building up. I got back to the office and just happened to be watching the camera that is up in the transmitter building when I watch this guy walk into our building look at the alarm panel and then dash out. Long story short, we ended up going out there calling the Sheriff's Department and not catching him. But we have a
picture of him and
video of him entering the building. If you have any information about this guy, please contact me through the
K-Wave website.
Yesterday, (Sunday) we had our semi-final and championship slow pitch softball game. We lost the championship by one run. However, I did my best those two games. I was getting some really nice hits. But I'm
really sore today. And to think, I'll be feeling worse than this every day from the academy... joy.
Today (Monday) was my birthday. Pretty uneventful overall. It was nice that people at work sang happy birthday to me. And Lindsey gave me a card, and we went to dinner. Then shared our Pazookie with Daniel and Mandy. I have a lot of cookie left over in my fridge. Yum!

Listening to music...
I was going through some links on iTunes music store...and I have come to the realization that I really like the Beach Boys.
I don't know why all of a sudden I think that... I don't know if it's because summer is coming up or what.
The Beach Boys rock! :)

Almost 23 weeks!
Wow, Johnny and I are a little over 5 1/2 months! I can't believe it! He's becoming more and more active, only at certain times. I can't feel him moving around when i'm standing, but when i'm sitting and relaxing after eating he's a little squirmy worm. :)

San Francisco
Survived Saturday. Marcos came home from his ride-along around 2:30am, and I was up at 4:30am to be picked up to go to the airport. We went to San Francisco for our Baker seminar. We actually left the seminar early because we couldn't book a flight after the seminar.
Dr. Baker is always interesting to listen to. It was incredible, I didn't quite understand how much dr's have to manipulate a baby to get them out.

Happy Resurrection Day!!
Good morning to all who are up at the most unholy of holy hours. It is today, Jesus rose from the dead and saved us from eternal death and separation from God.
Marcos, myself, Dan, Chad, and Kay are here getting ready for the Sunrise Service for Easter in the Meadows. It's about 4:50am, but Marcos and I were up at 3:15am.
Ha, I just felt Johnny move around...he's probably thinking, "whhhat is gooiin on herreee?? you should be in bed. go back to bed. I want to sleep. what's with this music?" :)
That's all for now. For all of you who know my cousin, it's her birthday today as well. She also just got the job as an in-house attorney for Salvation Army. :) We are SOOO happy for her! She's awesome. If you don't know her, you're missing out on knowing a great young lady.
HAPPY RESURRECTION DAY!!

Still no appointment
I was to talk with a perinatologist by today; however, some one has dropped the meat in the sand. I was to have the referral sent over on thursday. I called the lady that I was to call and she said she didn't get the referral and that there is nothing wrong with their fax machine. The lady at Bristol Park said she would get back to me when she got it or hears back from my OB's office. They just closed when I called at the end of the day because I didn't hear anything from them.
Friday: I call in the morning and said that I didn't hear back from Bristol Park and they said they still did not get it. I call my doc's office and said that my doctor is aware of the situation and they have tried 4 times to send the referral, but no luck, and my doctor was not in the office on friday's. I call BP again... and ask for a supervisor. The lady recognized who it was and said that they got a new fax number and they would call me in an hour. They never called back, and I fell asleep - most likely from my blood sugar being too high...which would be more under control if I'd talked to the perinatologist. So hear we are looking at the weekend and having to wait until Monday to get any results.
Now I can't make the appointment until Tuesday - the referral better be ready/received so I can make it then. I tell ya.

Failed Diabetes Test
On Monday, while at the zoo, I found out that my 3 hour glucose screening test came back high. The question the nurse asked me was, "Did you fast for your test??", "yes...why?", "because it came back high."... and that was it. I had my appointment to see my Dr on Thursday and figured we would chat then.
Thursday is here and we visited with my doctor. I need to call a lady this afternoon and set up an appointment to go over what this will mean for me and Johnny the rest of the way. However, I will be setting up appointments to go 2 times each week to make sure that Baby J and I are OK. There is a strong possibility that I will need to go on insulin. I'll keep you guys posted on how things are going.

San Diego Zoo
I got to go on Monday to the San Diego Zoo with Yvonne's son. We had a really good time. I was surprised that we didn't have to stay as a group and there was no educational/note taking class that we had to listen to/watch. His dad picked us up at the end of the day. It was relaxing in the sense that we were not rushed to go from point A to point B. Were we tired by the end of the day? Of Course. I got home and practically passed out - after eating a small dinner.
